We are committed to caring for and supporting the communities in which we live and work. For us, social responsibility is a vital component of our culture. From mentoring schemes and Pro Bono work, to fundraising and charity leadership, our people give their time, expertise and energy to make our communities a better place to live and work.

We understand that, in order to provide value to the communities in which we operate, we need a wide and diverse range of opinions, experiences and backgrounds. We therefore value talent from a wide range of backgrounds, religions, sexualities and ethnicities. Our firm is more than just a collection of individuals – together, we are committed to offering greater contributions to our community for a better and fairer tomorrow.

Supporting charities

We provide support to charities in a variety of ways, from donating money to actively taking part in fundraising events and activities. We also offer legal advice to some charities, and a number of our people hold non-executive board positions with various charities across Scotland.

We establish formal partnerships with chosen charities, as voted for by our people, on an annual basis.

Throughout 2024, we are supporting housing and homeless charity Shelter Scotland. You can find out more about how we are supporting Shelter Scotland, and donate if you wish, by visiting our dedicated fundraising page.

Our partnership with BRAKE

Brake is a national road safety charity which works to raise awareness of road safety issues, and provides support and advice to road collision victims and their families through their National Road Victim Service. As a panel member of this service in Scotland, we are delighted to work with Brake to offer crucial legal support and advice to road collision victims and their families. In addition, we support the charity with fundraising and in their campaign work to promote greater road safety, particularly around national awareness days, "Road Safety Week" and "Beep Beep! Day".

Find out more about Brake's valuable work on their website.
