Senior Associate

Elizabeth advises in relation to a varied range of private client matters, including succession planning, the preparation of wills and the administration of deceased persons’ estates.

Elizabeth also advises on the granting and operation of Powers of Attorney and the law relating to adults with incapacity, often working in conjunction with other members of the firm's Later Life team.

Elizabeth was a mentor for the Law Society of Scotland's LawScot Foundation which aims to support academically talented students from less-advantaged backgrounds in Scotland through their legal education journey. She has tutored on the core Private Client course of the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh since 2018 and formerly tutored on the undergraduate 'Revenue Law' course for 8 years.

Elizabeth is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Solicitors for the Elderly (Accredited member), the University of Edinburgh's Free Legal Advice Centre Board and the Notary Public registered with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
