Morton Fraser MacRoberts to relocate Edinburgh office to state-of-the-art Haymarket development

Morton Fraser MacRoberts is moving to prestigious Grade A office space at Haymarket Square in Edinburgh.

Designed by world-renowned architects Foster + Partners, the new office features state-of-the-art facilities and has been designed with a focus on agile working and collaboration between the firm’s people and clients. The firm will move to the Haymarket development, from its current office at Quartermile, in September 2024.

Morton Fraser MacRoberts’ new office will be located on the fifth floor of 9 Haymarket Square, set within the impressive £350m mixed-use development in the heart of Edinburgh’s West End. With an EPC rating of A and a BREEAM certification of ‘Very Good’, sustainability has been maximised in all aspects of the design in keeping with the firm’s commitment to environmental excellence, which is supported by its ISO 14001 certification for Environmental Management.

The open-plan office space has been purposefully designed to facilitate an environment of meaningful collaboration and in-person contact and interaction between people and teams across the business.

Neil Kennedy, COO of Morton Fraser MacRoberts, said:

“This move will mark a significant milestone for Morton Fraser MacRoberts’ journey and will further support the effective integration of our two legacy businesses into a single combined firm. The new office space has been designed with a strong focus on agility, flexibility and choice for our people, which we believe are critical to a modern, progressive and people-centred law firm, whilst also enforcing first-class legal services to clients across Scotland, the rest of the UK and internationally.

“We are committed to optimising our office footprint, which includes the consolidation of our teams at our current offices at Quartermile in Edinburgh and Capella in Glasgow. It is an exciting time for the business, and the Haymarket location will be ideal for further integrating and connecting our teams in Edinburgh and Glasgow.”
